Following on from
our success with our Jetski adventures, (see
previous history) we are now about to undertake another first.
In
order to keep the spirit of adventure alive we have decided to
attempt the first ever Parasail crossing between Liverpool and
Dublin, a distance of 120 miles.
So
what is a Parasail? It's basically a parachute towed by a boat.
Due
to the nature of this event weather conditions will play a vital
part in its success.
At
present we have secured past team members from previous events
which include members from the RNLI.
We
anticipate as in previous challenges a great deal of media interest
and so hope to generate sponsorship to support this event, which
is being undertaken in aid of the British
Heart Foundation.
The
plan now is to generate the funding in order for this event to
take place. At this stage anyone wishing to help please contact
us at voyager@TheMedWeb.co.uk.
